MessagePro for Facebook App Reviews

I loved this app until … something broke in early 2016. Now core functions of the app, like the ability to send messages(!), are broken. I cannot attach photos. Its usefulness is out the window. The last revision was in 2015. Might a new version be on the way? Sadly, I’m looking for anoither app to run Facebook Messenger outside of a Facebook browser tab.

I keep hoping that Message Pro for Facebook will begin working properly. I believe that’s been the case for about the last year. I imagine that about 90% of the time that I try to send a message using the application it won’t send. I then copy what I’ve written, paste it into the private message section of Facebook and send it. I’ve notfied the application provider of this problem, never heard anything in return and the problem still exists. I will soon take some of my time to look for a better application that actually works the vast majority of the time.

Good and efficient app, good sync, it remain some minor graphic "bug" but not a big deal. Thanks for this app guys

This app is pretty awesome. It makes messaging so easy and convenient. Now it is not difficult to message my friends on the go. Thanks a lot.

Just downloaded. So far so good, except it was a pain to actually get logged into the app and working. All it would do is open facebook in safari. working now though. Fingers crossed. Seems pretty convinient as long as it continues to work.

I just downloaded this tonight and talked to my girlfriend who is currently out of state for work. Used it just now, 3 hours straight! Never froze or gave any trouble at all. Just like being at the website only better! Buy it now the price is unbelievable for what you get!

Its worth the 1.99 youll spend. Actually, its more than worth it. I wish I had found this before I spent 4.99 on another app that doesnt work HALF as well as this one. This is the best Facebook messenger out there.

Compared to the other facebook chat apps this one is a winner in my book, its very fast, responsive, looks great, easy to use, and i recieve notifications within seconds of them appearing on Facebook. Absolutley worth the money

I love this app! It is quick and easy. I love the fact it sits on my dock and I do not have to open my browser and be signed online to use it.

I was looking for a good messaging app and this one really fits in well. Really love the design.

With all the awesome reviews, I thought it was what I was looking for but when logging in, it just opens up facebook but doesnt log in the app. Please fix this!

The app is almost exactly what I was looking for. You can get all of the Facebook Stickers and everything, which is really nice because a lot of those are awesome. Id recommend this to anyone looking for an app that is essentially the computer version of the mobile app, Messenger. Its a good app. The only think that I dont like about it is almost exactly to the message page in Facebook itself, so you cant really make the window any small than it comes as a default or hide your contacts. Not a huge problem, but it is a little annoying. What you see on the pictures is exactly what you are getting, only you can make the programs window a little bit longer if you want.

FOR REAL! Terrible app… good for nothing… u can find better apps of this kind… DELETED !

Sadly, but this app is the only _working_ solution for Facebook messaging on Mac, outside of Facebook itself. I guess Facebook just dont want anybody to use any chat clients and keep things hard to implement. So, this app just loads Facebook web chat to its own window. Thats why it works :) There are major bugs, though. The layout is broken, since Facebook introduced new sidebar with icons. Notifcations are not vanished when you click on them in Notification Center. But still, it does job better than any other apps Ive tried so far.

This is a great tool to connect with and i use it often. Works great and it is a wonderful app for FB users.

This app is just a wrapper for the message section of the facebook website. Astro is a much better app and not a wrapper.
